A 12-week ambassador program at iDEAUFRO in southern Chile introduces students from diverse backgrounds to Stellar blockchain and Web3 development. The program uses Stellar Passport for identity management and project tracking, emphasizing that blockchain extends far beyond cryptocurrency to enable open, accessible global finance.
iDEAUFRO hosted the first session of a 12-week ambassador program introducing Stellar blockchain to students across engineering, design, and business disciplines. Speakers Pau Koh and Alex Hernández explained blockchain as a decentralized ledger enabling instant, secure value transfer without central authorities, framing it as the foundation of an 'Internet of Value.' The program demonstrated Stellar Passport, a digital identity tool for managing profiles, tracking progress, and accessing international funding opportunities. Emphasizing that Web3 impact doesn't require coding expertise, the initiative seeks diverse problem-solvers to build real-world solutions using global tools. Upcoming sessions focus on project creation, technical learning, and strengthening the ambassador network in southern Chile.
